Permanent eyeliner typically lasts 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and pigment depth. Fading occurs gradually; we recommend a color-refresh touch-up every 12–18 months to maintain intensity. Individual results vary and a consultation helps set expectations.
Most clients report minimal discomfort thanks to topical numbing applied before the procedure. You may feel pressure or slight stinging during application and some tenderness or swelling afterward. Pain tolerance varies; we discuss numbing options to keep you comfortable.
Arrive with clean, make-up-free eyes and avoid caffeine, alcohol, aspirin, and certain supplements 24–48 hours before your appointment. Avoid tanning and recent lash services. Disclose medications, medical history, and allergies so we can confirm candidacy and safe pigment choices.
Initial healing takes about 7–14 days as the upper lash line scabs and settles. Pigment appears darker at first and softens over several weeks. Final results and any necessary adjustments are evaluated at a 6–8 week follow-up appointment.
Not ideal candidates include pregnant or nursing clients, those with active eye infections, recent eye surgery, certain autoimmune conditions, or on isotretinoin. People prone to keloids or with uncontrolled medical issues should consult their physician before booking.
Avoid applying eye makeup directly to the treated lash line until fully healed, typically about 7–10 days. After healing, you can wear makeup, but avoid harsh or waterproof products on the pigment to prolong color longevity and prevent irritation.
